Manipulative Physiotherapy
This uses gentle thrusts to release joint restrictions to relieve pain by relieving joint stiffness and malpositions. Often a click is heard during the manipulation and this often gives great relief.
Maitland Mobilisation
This uses gentle thumb pressure to ease joint restriction, safely removing stiffness and pain.
Mulligan Mobilisation
Brian Mulligan, a New Zealand physiotherapist, pioneered this gentle effective soft tissue and joint mobilization combined with the patient’s own body movements. Great for headaches, arm and shoulder pain, sciatica, back pain and much more.
Vestibular Physiotherapy
Many dizziness, tinnitus (ringing in the ear) and balance problems respond well to the Epley method, and mobilization of the upper neck
Temporo-mandibular joint (Jaw joint)
These problems respond well to mobilization using a range of physiotherapy techniques.
Physiotherapy Instrument Mobilisation
This exciting new physiotherapy technique uses a tool to provide a precise joint mobilization which is far safer than manipulation and usually as effective. Tim and Pam developed this concept in response to the need for effective joint mobilisation without the risks sometimes associated with manipulation. Developed and patented by Corrimal Physiotherapy, this exciting new approach has been taught by Tim and Pam since October 2009 to over 200 Australian and NZ postgraduate physios and is being taught internationally from 2011 onwards.

SMR rollers, Core Stability exercises and Pilates
These are essential parts of most our treatments. Massage and mobilisation are provided to quickly get you going and out of pain; exercises via our exclusive Phases 2 and Pilates programmes (printed exercises provided) will keep you feeling good and reduce the chance of the problem coming back.
Dry Needling
Dry Needling is a great addition to physiotherapy. It provides dramatic reduction of muscle and joint tightness and often works when direct physical measures are not effective. Tim has over 25 years of experience of dry needling in musculo-skeletal disorders and has taught on post-graduate physiotherapist dry needling courses. Grant MacKay has through extensive postgraduate training mastered the ultimate Dry Needling Plus taught by Andrew Hutton.
